In 2022, the Booster Club gave out $6,000 in scholarships and Senior Awards!
Thank you to all who helped support the Booster Club through the year to help make this happen!
The Pillager Booster Club has partnered with the Pillager Education Foundation for the past several years to review and award the Booster Club Scholarships. The Pillager Education Foundation organizes the review committee members and guidelines for scholarship awarding.
Pillager Booster Club Scholarships:
Applicant must volunteer at two(2) Booster Club sponsored events, from March of their Junior Year to February of Senior Year.
Applicant must participate in a Pillager School sponsored sport or activity.
Applicant must NOT have a MSHSL violation on file for the graduating school year
Additionally, applicants must meet the following Ed Foundation Criteria set forth by the Ed Foundation:
The Pillager Education Foundation Scholarships are open to Pillager High School Seniors meeting the following:
● Graduating from Pillager High School
● Completed and submitted this application and attachments on time: Mail to Pillager Education Foundation, PO Box 345, Pillager, MN 56473
● Volunteered at three Pillager Education Foundation sponsored events including concession stand duty and/or the Evening for Education Event in the spring
● Plan on attending a post-secondary school as a full time student for the subsequent school year Scholarship Selection is based upon the following and scored accordingly:
1. A personal narrative essay about where you have been, where you are now and where you hope to be.
2. Volunteer/community service work
3. Work experience
4. School Athletics and Activities
5. Academic Performance
6. Two letters of recommendation-one from school athletic or activities coach/director and one from employer or community service supervisor.
7. Willingness to talk with current students and community members about your college experience
